A coastal storm impacts the region tonight into early Friday morning with periods of rain, heavy at times, and gusty winds. Steady rain tapers off to showers/drizzle Friday. Snow showers linger Friday night, with windy conditions expected late Friday night into Saturday. Milder Sunday and Monday, a return to colder than normal conditions is expected Tuesday in mid next week.
